The basic idea is very interesting, hoods impersonating cops. Yes, it had the potential to be far far better. But we don't deal here with ACROSS 110TH STREET, where, remember, gangsters dressed like cops robbed gambling houses belonged to the mob. Here, everything is wasted because we have the social worker Baretta...But this kind of scheme missed in the show. I don't think it had been told before. It remains an acceptable time waster anyway, despite the fact that it sometimes sounds like a comedy; not entirely, but sometimes. I highly preferred the previous seasons of Baretta.
