David Clennon and Norman Bartold

"The Architect" finds the entire squad room working on Sunday, with Dietrich on restricted duty since his recent arrest, unable to carry a firearm or go out on any calls (Dietrich: "I feel like I'm being punished!" Barney: "you are!" Dietrich: "oh yeah!"). Norman Bartold (third of five) plays insurance salesman Bob Schuyler, popping in to the 12th to see if someone needs to buy insurance. Only Wojo is interested, revealing his name as Stan Wojciehowicz (Schuyler: "is that Polish?" Wojo: "yeah...what, are the rates different?" Schuyler: "oh no...not anymore!"). A break-in across the street was committed by the actual architect who designed the building (David Clennon, fourth of five), whose increasing interest in the time has Barney suspect that he'd already planted a bomb before he was caught. We also get a pair of inept gunmen (Paul Lieber, first of four, and Chu Chu Malave, third of four) who show up too late to rescue a suspect already gone. Left alone in the squad room, Dietrich is at the mercy of Schuyler's pleas to purchase an insurance policy (Dietrich: "can I get my gun back for a second?").
