Episodes 13-15 of "Brooklyn Bridge" are essentially one long story broken into thirds and "Boys and Girls Together Again" is the third.
To get past Katie's parents' rule that she is too young to date the same boy more than twice a month, Alan arranges for his friend Benny to ask Katie to the dance with the understanding that they'll switch dates once they are there. As for Benny, he's been infatuated with Karen for years and Alan will ask her out for Benny since he's too scared to do it himself. However, in the process, Benny falls for Katie AND Karen falls for Alan. By the end of episode two, Alan and Benny are at each other's throats and their relationship is a mess. In episode three, Benny has disappeared and Alan wants to find him to patch things up between them.
Of the three episodes, this one is probably the best due to the nice finale and how it all works out in the end. Rewarding and very well worth seeing.
