Great Show With Roddy McDowall And Bernadette Peters

The Q&A has a Canadian woman asking Carol if she had ever been to Canada, she said no, she's too young to be taken over the border.

There is a very funny Family sketch as Roddy returns as brother Phillip. Eunice, Ed and Mama visit him in his Hollywood home. Mama wants to watch her soap opera and Ed talks about the Three Stooges, Eunice hopes Phillip will put her in the movie he is writing.

Bernadette Peters sings "All That Jazz" from "Chicago" with the dancers.

Carol and Bernadette play typists who make their jobs more interesting.

One of the best movie spoofs is "The Lady Heir" which is their version of the Olivia DeHavilland/Montgomery Clift movie "The Heiress". Carol is the shy klutzy heiress and Roddy is fortune hunter who wants to marry her. A hilarious and explosive last scene.

There is a musical finale with songs by the Broadway team of Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock. It is set in 19th century Paris with songs from "She Loves Me" and "Fiddler On The Roof". Harvey is very funny singing "If I Were A Rich Man" with some French dialogue.

Carol reminds us of clean air and sings her theme.
