Great episode

Warning: Spoilers
I remember this particular episode so well. though I don;'t see how i could spoil the ending whereas the episode is FOURTEEN years old!! but. I DISTINCTLY remember watching it with my wife, and SPECIFICALLY the ending was what got me. (having a very young son at the time.) The Parents of one of the school shooting victims were waiting in the lobby ( they knew he was dead) he was maybe 8 yrs old, and they were despondent and did not want to leave the Hospital till they could get back at least some part of his belongings (something like that) they simply sat stoic in the waiting room seemingly in a state of shock as the episode unfolded around them. No one seemed to know what to say to them and there was nothing anyone could do for them, and no one wanted to give them any of the boys clothing to take home because all of it was blood soaked! Finally in the last scene of the show, one of the ER staff took pity on them and fished the boys sneakers out of the trash. ( they also had blood on them) As he was doing this and carrying the sneakers out to the patents a song began playing " where are you going my little one" as the song grew louder the man handed the Sneakers to the parents and turned and walked away with out a word. The parents then held each other and fell apart in each others arms, as the words " turn around and you're 2 turn around and you're 4" were being sung. It was art THIS point I stood up and left the room declaring to my wife " Oh my god I can't watch this any more" and went into the kitchen to make some tea. From the kitchen i could hear my wife absolutely SOBBING! , and I went upstairs teary eyed to hold and kiss my sleeping son> I will never forget this episode. If you like tear jerker's, you will LOVE this one. Warning though, have a box of Kleenex handy. I'm NOT kidding!!!

I agree that this episode was brilliant. I also remember the scene where Billy found the shoes, cleaned them and returned them to the grieving parents while the song Turn Around was playing. I've seen this episode once since then and that particular scene was cut from the episode 😡. Perhaps it's a copyright thing. I have never heard the version of the song played in the episode again. It was so good 😢. I would love to see this series released on DVD at some stage. I understand it has something to with the songs which are played in each episode have some sort of copyright thing. You'd think if it's in the show - why would that prevent them from releasing it on DVD 🤔
