Ed has second thoughts about Chico working in his garage
kevinolzak10 July 2016
"Second Thoughts" finds Ed wondering what it's going to take to get Chico to work someplace else, but he doesn't fool his partner: "some guys have to hide the good feeling they have inside with bad feelings, so they make believe they feel lousy but deep down inside they feel good, so it makes me feel good to see you feel lousy because I know deep down where it counts you feel very good!" Chico's serenading of engines earns a moniker from Ed: "the General Motors Tabernacle Choir!" An iron clad contract between the two frustrates Ed's every attempt to discourage eternal optimist Chico. Finally, Chico tells The Man that all he has to do is tell him to leave and he'll believe him and go, which Ed does: "I don't believe you!"
