Someone owes him money. He has threatened him in person and by letter. Now he has come to San Francisco to collect. No surprise that Skip gets drugged and wakes up next to a dead body.
Skip does not stick about for the police to arrest him. He comes over to Harry and Harrison for help. He brings the dead body with him.
Harry needs to find out just why Skip was framed.
