From the very beginning, this very good episode reminded me another feature, made for cinema I mean, which is one of my all time favourites: THE SPIKES GANG, directed by Richard Fleisher in 1974 and starring Ron Howard, Charlie Martin Smith and the so soon disappeared Gary Grimes. A bunch of young men who meet a old timer, an outlaw - Lee Marvin. A masterpiece for me.
And this little episode is nearly the same story. I was touched by it. The characters are so well described, that you are surprised all long the episode. I LOVE this TV show I just discovered a few weeks ago. This episode is one of the best. And I know there will be more like this one.
