This episode has Friday and Gannon working the robbery detail. Three times there are robberies and three times the same spiteful alcoholic woman goes to the police--insisting her estranged husband did it! The first two times the police request that the man be in a lineup for identification by witnesses and each time he does and the victims swear it was not him. After the third robbery, the woman actually comes to the police station--angry as a hornet that the police hadn't arrested the husband! Even when the police tell them that a man WAS arrested and confessed to all three robberies, she isn't content--and is nasty to boot.
Later, when other robberies occur, she once again calls the police and make their lives and her husband's miserable. All in all, she's called them 11 times complaining about him...until there is a robbery and a partial fingerprint appears to actually belong to the husband!! Did he finally do it? And, more importantly, why didn't he simply kill his wife and do the world a favor--she's THAT unpleasant and horrible. She could drive even the nicest man to do violence!! Overall, a funny and memorable episode--and it's very, very original. Watch this one and pay attention to the final scene--it's a doozy.
