Love is beautiful!
specterman24 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The "Midnight Waltz" alway's brings tears to my eyes when I see Mrs. Cook appear on the dance floor to husband Mr. Cook saying "Happy Anniversary." It's beautiful to see two people who still love each other after so many years dancing to their favorite song on their 39th Anniversary.

That was a very touching fantasy.

two love stories (two too much)
mikeholmes-4801226 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I missed like the first 35 minutes of this one. for some reason the channel they play Fantasy Island had a the Pope giving a speech in Philly. I was really upset. but i realized i didn't miss much. two story arcs, one is some chic wants to be Marie Antointte. why i don't know and based on what i saw, she was innocent and it was the lady who was trying to screw her over that was the bad guy. So she is like betrayed by the king ,some guy rescues her, they find the other queen, some guy kisses her and as Fantasy island rule , you cant leave with a guy you love (and it seems a kiss is good enough though you are their soul mate, they are like kiss , okay see you later) but they can come to your life, get on the fantasy island plane and go home with you ( and where do they live then right? instant relationship). anyhow she gets her fantasy, gets a few compliments and the Mr Roarke gives her a nice compliment. i guess thats worth the 50 grand or so she spent, though i would like a compliment form Ricorardo Montiban, he is very articulate.

the other story was something about an old guy ( who upon researching is the same old guy looking for the fountain of youth in another episode, he didn't find it and according to find a grave is buried next to Frank Zappa) anyhow his wife was dead, and i remember seeing the episode description while i was watching the NJ Devils game making sure my DVR was going to record, not realizing it would be mostly pope but i remember saying to the wife, "he wants to dance with his dead wife, once more, bet shes rotting". Spoiler alert , i was wrong and it was mushy and the clock that marked midnight looked like my parents 1980s non radio alarm clock, but wrapped in a heart. HOnestly i was hoping when the clock hit 12 he would die. instead it was all gushy. Tattoo had this thing that he had to say goodnight to the one lady, so that means he probably was involved in this episode a lot so i guess the pope was a good thing.

fun fact, upon doing my looking up the actors to see who is dead, both the actor for the king and the fake queen were born months apart and died months apart, in their 50's, in 1987. makes you think
