A case of mystery and intrigue.

Archaeologist Professor John Smaill discovers a valuable Byzantine Cross in a cave in Crete, upon discovering it he hears a voice foretell his death, keen to get to England for the discovery of a tomb, Father Brown believes one of Smaill's fellow travellers is behind it.

A third consecutive episode that I would class as very good, although I like this story more than the previous two. It's a big, intriguing story, it's all very mysterious, and cloak and dagger, I enjoyed it very much.

The acting is good on the whole, More is very assured in his role as Father Brown. Some of the acting is a bit over the top at times, The Vicar has a touch of the hysterics.

There was a very good horror vibe, that sinister voice was effective, the twist at the end also came as a big surprise, this was very good. 8/10.
