This show got me hooked for the first time i saw it on HBO, i re-watched it again on my PC and its as good as the first time i saw it. It really portrays life with its ups and downs (especially its downs), and i really find myself in the characters. My favorite character is Russell, it resembles to me a lil. Hank Azaria does a 5 star job playing Huff, as well as Paget Brewster. In fact all actors do a wonderful job with their characters. Maybe Byrd is a little too serious and mature for a 14-year old. The ending of the first season was great. It saw that coming but not that spectacular, you could see the tension building since 3 episodes(or more). And at the end it all snapped ! Just like in real life, maybe a little too much. But it did a great job, the last scene of the episode had my eyes glued to the screen, i had to see that scene 3 times !
I have to say this is a very good show a la HBO mark. To all those who has second thoughts on seeing it, u should reconsider. You can really see yourself in one of the characters. It has it all, humor, drama, turnovers, black humor....everything that u would see in real life.
I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
