"He's no good"
bkoganbing17 August 2019
This Kojak story focuses on the Manhattan South Squad trying to locate the proceeds of an armored car heist committed over a year ago. The problem is that the one who had the loot dies unexpectedly of natural causes. In his line of work that is unexpected.

Telly Savalas works on Candice Azzara a hooker who's pimp Armand Assante stepped up in criminal class and masterminded the hijack. All Assante and his crew know is that the loot is hidden somewhere in a large and "secure" apartment.

Azzara is really the star of this episode as Savalas tries and tries to convince her that her man is no good. In fact they plan to kill her, but she's a Tammy Wynette type of gal.

Nice episode, especially Azzara.

Forget about the bill that debt's paid

****SPOILERS**** Scared out of his wits and popping nitroglycerin pills like M&M's Denny Schwartz, Albert Henderson, makes a brake for it when he's spotted by Let. Theo Kojak, Telly Salalas, and his partner Det. Bobby Crocker, Kevin Dobson, as he eventually after almost a mile run in big secret. That secret has to do where he starched some 6 million dollars that he and his boss Tom Ryan, Armand Assante, ripped off a city bank a year ago where three persons were killed.

It's up to Let. Kojak to get Danny's hooker girlfriend Milly Blasky, Candice Azzara, to find out where Danny hid the money before Rayn does and together with his gangster pals skips not only town but the country with the stolen money. As for Ryan & Co. the only clue to where the money is has to do with this out of the way apartment building on the upper east side which is where Ryan plans to take over in a combat military operation and go floor to floor and room to room until he finds the stolen cash. Even if, with high explosives, he has to demolish the entire building to do it.

***SPOILERS*** With Milly at first helping Let. Kojak and the police she then turns on him by joining Ryan, who said that he loved her, in his effort to get his hands on the stolen money as well as holding all the buildings tenants as hostage. This goes back and forth until Milly soon finds out that Ryan plans to double-cross her as soon as he gets his hands on the money and then drop her like a sack of cold Idaho potatoes! Ryan is so obsessed in getting his hands on the stolen cash that he doesn't seem to realize that the entire building is surrounded by a division of NYC police. He soon loses both Milly and his gang members who decide to give up to the police with him slipping on a banana peal and falling down a flight of stairs, with the 6 million in cash flying in all directions, right into the awaiting arms and handcuffs of Let. Theo Kojak.
