Dan Reid sees a man being chased and wounded by two bushwhackers. When they see him, they immediately ride away. Dan is soon joined by the Ranger and Tonto. The wounded man is Texas Ranger Roy Barnett. He had been acting undercover to try to join the Cardoza outlaw gang. Unfortunately, they caught onto him. The Ranger and Tonto try to find the gang while Dan cares for Roy. When the two outlaws return, Dan leads them away on his white stallion Victor, but they catch him and take him to Cardozo's hideout in an old mine so that they can learn where Roy is. Dan bests one of the outlaws in fisticuffs, but gets knocked out. Cardozo shoots the man Dan beat, for losing the fight. The Ranger and Tonto arrive. How they overcome the remaining three outlaws and rescue Dan? Cardozo is a smart and totally ruthless outlaw, but he may yet learn that Dan Reid is a "little muchacho who fights like seven demons."
