Billy's father dies. When getting ready for the funeral Billy decides that he should take over the furniture store. At the end his mom convinces him that his dad would want him to be a writer. Alison that comes for the funeral is there for Billy and at the end she decides that she doesn't want to leave LA anymore.
A great episode. Very emotional. I liked how they showed Billy not wanting to talk to Amanda but the calling Alison. It was kind of a good scene to show that him and Amanda are done for good. The idea of him taking over a store was also good, it showed a reasonable way he would feel after his father's death but his family and friends made sure he doesn't do it.
And Alison stays! Great news, something that I expected but glad that they didn't waste more episodes with her in Seattle for it.
