With the infamous catfight in the complex swimming pool, between Jane and Sidney. It's a hilarious scene, but the context is a lot less funny. Once again, Sidney backstabbed her big sister, and plans on marrying her ex-husband. Through blackmail... It makes for a very entertaining storyline for the show, but it is very sad and messed up when you think about it. Especially after her own mother disowned her, and future husband plans on getting rid of her. I like Sidney, she's strangely endearing. But she can also be infuriating, and you happen to wish her the bad she gives, to came back to her tenfold. And it will... Jo turned things around, when the death of Reed brought her the gift of life. And to Amanda « the home wrecker » dismay, Jake's renewed affection and concern... Matt is still the hopeless wallflower of the season, and Billy and Alison fight, again. But Season 2 was clearly the show getting to the series peak, two years later. And is a very important part of the Melrose Place history. As well as a must watch for first time viewers.
