Not a fan of Sammy Davis Jr, so for me this episode already had a strike against it going in. I always found him to be an unappealing little twerp in all his scripted TV appearances and here he plays an obnoxious film star who seems to have a death wish. By the time his motivations are revealed, it's a case of too-little-too-late.
This is mostly a Linc episode as he and Sammy's character grew up together in the 'hood where Linc considered him a hero.
Norman Alden surprisingly is NOT playing a shady guy or someone with ulterior motives in this one and Lola Falana shows off her curves in a figure-hugging bodysuit.
