Building of the cabin
mitchrmp3 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Having just arrived on the land, Clayt and Kathy must know find a way to build their cabin. Clayt begins the thought process but before he can get started Jim takes off in frustration. But his return is welcomed because of what he brought back. Another obstacle - bigger than Jim's - are the wolvers that are bringing trouble to the people in the area. They still Clay's money, which really makes Clayt mad.

Major Mapoy's personality shows through this episode as well. He likes the Monroes, but he doesn't like them. He wants to help them, but he doesn't want to help him. I find myself liking the major in spite of himself.

But Clayt is turning out not to be as bad as the Major first thought he was. Clayt knows how to hold his own and helps capture the wolvers. The gives him a lot of brownie points with the Major. Even Mr. Jackson earns a thank you from Clayt.

In the end, the family gets their cabin built and Amy even makes a sign to hang on the walls. Finally, they have a door with a real lock and a nice cabin to live in. But out there in the big bad world, there's a lot of things just waiting to hurt Clayt's family. He has a lot of responsibility, only being eighteen, and he must make sure he keeps his family safe.
