Where's the Priest's Integrity?

Robert Prosky (Hill Street Blues, et. Al.) plays a priest who has had a parishioner die during an exorcism. He has broken rules of the church. Also, during the event he struck the woman. First of all, the whole business of an exorcism is so ridiculous that I would label him an object of ridicule. He allows Bobby to run the show and then, pompously, talks about how he failed the lawyer (for whom he is a priest and long time friend). This guy went to the lawyer and asked for help. We have a couple subplot where that litigious nut case has a probe in his butt and wants to sue the proctologist. And Jimmy, who becomes more and more annoying, making commercials. As portrayed, Jimmy is so pathetic.

WEAK EPISODE

After some excellent episodes, this one bombed for me; Mainly due to the proctologist sequence.

I'm watching this for the first time at time of writing and getting a feel for the series. I'm hoping the trend turns.
