There is something in Laura Holt's apartment. She catches someone who claims to be doing electrical work and suddenly disappears.

The property management company are not helpful but someone wants Laura out of the way. She is drugged and ends up in an insane asylum.

Mildred the once formidable Internal Revenue agent pretends to be a superior nurse to help Laura escape.

We see Laura's fellow tenant's in her apartment and they seem to be an unfriendly lot. They want Laura evicted for bringing trouble.

There is a complicated plot about something hidden in the apartment, a man who did time and has now been released.

It leads to a silly finale. The apartment block is burned, there is a confrontation by Remington and Laura with the bad guys in an apartment not suffering from any smoke damage. They manage to push some buttons and get various robots working.

Also what kind of asylum just locks up a random person off the street. Something similar happened last season with a character, I hope Laura sued the facility for false imprisonment.

Laura does what we'd all like to do with a receptionist

What's hidden in Laura's loft that so many people seem to want so desperately?

A very funny confrontation between Laura and a secretary; and an object lesson in the meaning g of "runaround." And we have a hint of who is the better detective.

Again, we hear echoes of "The Rockford Files," when his neighbors tried to get him evicted.

A delightful climax where we learn about the secret life of one of Laura's neighbors, and we see lots of early 1980s electronics in action, including what they thought AI would be.

And Remington has an opportunity to demonstrate his need to be dapper in trying circumstances.

Not a great episode, perhaps, but puzzling enough to be entertaining.
