I just loved this episode.
I never write reviews but I am a very big Denis Leary fan and a cat rescuer and I just had to say that this episode is my favorite because in the end the cats got everything and the humans came up short after MS Ng's will was read.
After all the disdain and deliberate ignoring of the cats they rose above it all- and everyone walked away knowing better.
The show itself has great moments of appreciation for the impact of 9-11 and Denis does hold it together as the glue or unglued aspect of it but basically it is a must pass.
I don't need to feel like I have stepped into a shrill and debasing romper room or Boys R Us firehouse where all that matters is scoring the next bang, and some words are hurtful to the maximum that are thrown around with abandon.
I am also a published poet and found the De Vere /Shakespeare crossing of swords as poetry unique.
