Did You Know?
Trivia | On Asteroid World, Albert Einstein refused to accept the moral responsibility of unleashing nuclear weaponry on world. He lied to U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, telling him that there was not enough nuclear fission in nature to create a nuclear explosion due to the Adiabatic Limit. Consequently, the United States was forced to invade Japan in 1945 and World War II lasted until 1950. Einstein's bomb prototype became a museum piece labelled "Einstein's Folly." See more » |
Goofs | Arturo says that the explosion of the nuke will not be visible immediately due to the delay caused by the finite speed of light and the distance between the asteroid and the earth. However, the sight of the rocket colliding with the asteroid itself is delayed by a similar period of time. A visible explosion should have followed a visible collision immediately. See more » |
