A Great Episode to be Continued
claudio_carvalho9 June 2015
The SGC has been shut down by Senator Kinsey despite the efforts of General Hammond. However, Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c disobey the orders and they travel to the coordinates that Daniel brought from the alternative Earth. They arrive in a room and out of the blue a group of Jaffa brings a large floating ball and leave it in front of the Stargate. Teal'c explains that it is a sort of television for communication purpose. Further, they discover that they are inside a Goa' uld spacecraft that is heading towards Earth to destroy the human race. Then they see Apophis ordering his son Klorel, who is actually Skaara, to wait for him before the ultimate attack. Sam and Daniel plant C-4 everywhere while Jack and Teal'c try to rescue Skaara, but they are captured by the enemy. Meanwhile Major Louis Ferretti assume the SGC and he expects to destroy the Goa'uld spacecrafts with two missiles. Will the Earth defenses suffice to hold the attack? Will the SG-1 survive?

"Within the Serpent's Grasp" is a great episode to be continued and hold the viewers to Season 2. I hate this type of procedure and fortunately I am watching to "Stargate SG-1" with all the DVDs in a non-stop mode. Skaara is gone and Jack has finally accepted the reality. Major Ferretti is an irritating character and I look forward to see his plan fall flat on face. My vote is eight.

Its time for the battle royale, the throwdown showdown, and its going to be big. Decent storyline, good acting, and a few fun moments. The sets and effects feel authentic.

Warning: Spoilers
The last episode of Season one and you know what, I'm looking forward to see season two. I started SG-1 due lists I had seen were it mostly popped up in the top 5. After a few episodes I thought what the hell was it all about, I liked some episodes but some were really terrible. But after episode 16 it really get going and the episodes weren't a stand alone no longer. In fact, a real story started and the episodes combined the story until the end of season one.

Even the president agreed to shut down SG-1. But Daniel still hasn't forgotten his parallel dimension adventure and wants to be sure that earth is save but therefore SG-1 has to to through the stargate. Without knowledge of the base and the general, of they go into space. But what they don't know is that they arrive at a battlestar from the goa'uld. The battlestar goes straight to earth, to destroy it...

Again a very good episode with an open ending, something that make you eager to watch season 2. Only hope that the story continues and we don't have stand alone episodes.

To save earth

Warning: Spoilers
To save earth

I knew they would not close stargate. Probably they will save the earth and president will let it stay.

This episode was really nice. Killing skarra, seeing different weapons...

The final scene was terrifying. Huge ship , with pyramide figure. Earth could do nothing against that.

Jack could hit skarra from feet or somewhere else. Not to kill. But never mind :)

It was good episode.

So, when they killed ra, they started the process for that attack to earth. If they did not kill ra, nothing will happen maybe for hundreds of years. But they helped lots of people.

I will miss this series. Because i watch series season by season. So, i will move to another series.

Season review ) 9 /10 :

After finishing season 1 of transporter series, I wanted to see some fantasy, science fiction. I watch series season by season, so after watching one season, I will move to another series.

I usually watch old series. 1990-2010 mostly. This series starts at 1997. So, it will be interesting.

I will copy this to also episode 1 review.

I did not watch star wars movies, I hope it does not create any lack of knowledge for me.

ON 5121 AFTER EPISODE 4 Starting to like the series. I think they will visit different countries, planets. Some of them will be pre-historic cultures like in this episode.

On 6121 AFTER EPISODE 6 Quarantine time :) It reminds me similar episode from x-files where there was some disases spreading in a small area.

ON 10121 AFTER EPISODE 15 I think that kid is second person started to live on the earth. First was teal'c. Carter and kid are attached to each other. Carter can go to see her if she can find time. Normally, we dont see them outside of earth or base but in the end, we saw them in the park. It is unusual so it was nice for me to see.

ON 10121 AFTER EPISODE 17 It was nice we saw nox and people from light country. I like the series, mostly all team and general are in an ethical way. They refuse non-earth people to become experiment objects or slaves. Because it is canada, not usa :) I dont say canada is innocent but it is a different country.

ON 11121 AFTER EPISODE 16 (i mixed episode orders, so that is why 15 16 17 18 are watched in different order) I was thinking stargate was in canada , not usa but in this episode they said usa. So why do they sometimes talk about toronto? It was also good to see how teal's is full of pain. He regrets every crime he did.

ON 13121 AFTER FINALE So, when they killed ra, they started the process for that attack to earth. If they did not kill ra, nothing will happen maybe for hundreds of years. But they helped lots of people. I will miss this series. Because i watch series season by season. So, i will move to another series.

I really liked the series. That jaffas inside snake customs, different voice when speaking in jaffa language.
