The tale of an ordinary woman in her sixties who lives alone and modest employee in 1933 Berlin, the year of Adolf Hitler access to power. Of course it is question here of Nazi party in this story of a woman wishing marrying a man who dislikes the Nazi regime. Very interesting character study in this too short story. Look for the little kid amusing himself by walking like a Nazi soldier, in the goose march, a simulated rifle on his shoulder. Excellent picture if you consider the context of this story. The atmosphere of terror spreading everywhere where you feel anguish for this poor woman seeking a better life in a free country. I won't spoil you this very good episode, without criminal element but Suspense, yes, definitely.
