I can't help wondering if this was an homage to particular film, the few I was thinking of definitely came later.
Bundles of fun this one, lots of funny moments and amusing one liners. Things were never going to run smoothly, and a plot that would work well in a thriller, let alone a kid's cartoon.
They didn't often bring back characters, but two of the most memorable from series one were Pierre and Gaston, so it was great to see them return here, David Jason clearly had a lot of fun..
