Herne's Son: Part 2

Farce is provided by Guy of Gisburne as he goes looking for Robert of Huntingdon and falls down a trapdoor. Perfect comic timing as Sergeant Sparrow gets his name wrong again.

Richard O'Brien provides the black magic. His character Gulnar bewitches Marion with a portion so she falls for the brute Owen of Clun who plans to wed her. I guess it was more easier than doing the timewarp.

Nasir is already in Clun Castle as a gladiator ready to do battle and he has seen Marion but unable to save her.

Robert needs to reunite the rest of the Merries, as always Will Scarlet is the toughest nut to crack.

When they all go to Clun Castle, Will recognises the fighting style of one of the warriors. However Robert needs to prove himself to the others and show them that he is ready to be trusted as the Hooded Man.

There were a lot of fight scenes here but the comedy were better and more memorable.

It is notable that Richard Carpenter by changing his lead has managed to bring together another legend of Robin Hood.

If Michael Praed was Robin of Loxley, the son of a Saxon Yeoman. Robert of Huntingdon was the nobleman who was of the same stock of King Richard and King John.
