A two-reel story in which Irving Cummings plays the part of a modern Lochinvar. He carries away a going-to-be-bride on the night of her wedding and marries her himself. The girl's apparent unwillingness seemed a little overdrawn, considering her dislike for her wealthy fiancé. An escaped convict does much to keep the plot in motion. The release is not exceptionally entertaining, but carries a moderate amount of interest. - The Moving Picture World, September 20, 1913
