Moving day
Paularoc20 July 2013
Topper was hoping the Kerbys would be gone before he and his wife moved into the house formerly owned by the Kerbys but fortunately that is not to be. On moving day, Henrietta Topper discovers that the small portraits of her mother and father are missing. Marian Kerby has hidden them in the dog house and when the beer guzzling St. Bernard Neil finds them, he promptly removes and buries them. Now the hunt is on to find out where Neil buried the portraits. There's an amusing exchange between Topper and the movers over his stealing their lunches. Topper wants to get a bone to give to Neil in the hope that he'll bury it and thus reveal the hiding place of the portraits. It's all rather silly but fun. Unfortunately, there is a rather annoying laugh track. After watching a few episodes, one gets use to the laugh track, but at first it's quite jarring.
