Mama Harper is mad because she has found a dirty magazine in Bubba's room. It turns out that the magazine came from the Food Circus where her daughter-in-law works. Mama Harper decides to form a group known as Mothers Against Porn better known as MOP to protest the store selling the dirty magazines. She gets Iola, Aunt Effie, Maggie, and Joan to help her with her fight. Of course, the protest gets some coverage and interest until there is a settlement. Of course with Mama's exception, the other protesters can't help themselves to using the Food Circus despite their protest to stop selling pornography in their local supermarket.

Can't picket on private property on store sidewalks.

The whole theme of the episode wasn't particularly funny. They rode it throughout the episode that stalled mostly. I though Naomi Harper (Dorothy Lyman) was funny defending her employer. Iola (Beverly Archer) got in some good one liners bad mouthing grocery checkers and their employers. Other than that brief exchange she wasn't utilized much thereafter. Also grounded Bubba (Allan Kayser) disappeared for most of the episode. Vinton Harper (Ken Berry) was humorous finally winning at Monopoly. It picked up with the arrival of glamorous TV reporter Maggie Smith (Joan McMurtrey). Thelma's friends picketing with her were kind of blah.
