Getting a taste of her own Hemlock has Angelique on pins and needles.

Warning: Spoilers
After weeks of committing evil against several people multiple times, Angelique finds herself in jeopardy when she is preparing to be buried alive by the ghost of Jeremiah after summoning him back from the dead to haunt others. She manages to take her way out, only to be found by Ben, and if you didn't know any better, you think that Angelique was one of the show's heroines. I love Ben's reaction to finding her and her telling him what happened, as he definitely enjoys seeing her get back what she's given. But a vulnerable Angelique is doubtful no matter what her claims of being good from now on our. She's doomed to her fate. If only Naomi knew the truth as she offers Angelique sympathy.

So it's a pause in the main plot as the audience is supposed to find sympathy for Angelique, but you definitely doesn't deserve that no matter how many mesmerizing Lara Parker is. Strange things do happen around the old house, and the Reverend wishes to leave, but Barnabas snaps like he would a century and a half later at Willie and Julia. It was surprising to see the wedding go through, but it's obvious that there are going to be some twists that shorten the length of it. One thing I know, this is not the night they invented champagne.

Macabre

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 397 focuses on the wedding between Barnabas and Angelique, but there are shocks in store and the usual macabre moments. Plenty of mileage from the bandaged ghost, and seeing Angelique getting what I personally feel are her just desserts remains a pleasure.
