A Who’s Who list of Hollywood celebrities have filed objections to the Weinstein Co. sale, saying they’re owed money by the bankrupt studio — though the murky accounting makes it difficult to know exactly how much without conducting an audit.
Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Murray and Quentin Tarantino were among those filing documents raising concerns about outstanding payments ahead of the court-supervised auction of the studio.
Tarantino has had a long collaboration with The Weinstein Co. and its disgraced co-founder, Harvey Weinstein. He made four films for the studio — Grindhouse/Death Proof, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight.
The writer-director estimates he’s still owed nearly $4.6 million for these films: $300,000 for Grindhouse, $575,000 for Inglourious Basterds, some $1.3 million for Django and $2.5 million for The Hateful Eight.

The upcoming live-action Disney movie The Nutcracker And The Four Realms has welcomed its first cast member – legendary ballerina Misty Copeland. Her appearance in the movie will mark her first involvement in narrative cinema, having already featured on television reality shows, as well as a documentary about her own early career, A Ballerina’s Tale.
The film will be helmed by Academy Award nominee Lasse Hallstrom (Salmon Fishing In The Yemen, The Shipping News, Chocolat), armed with a script by Ashleigh Powell, who makes her screenwriting debut here. With Mark Gordon (Grey’s Anatomy) producing the project, it is notable that the first casting choice is a strong one – recognizing that Misty Copeland is a world-renowned, award winning talent. It also indicates the tone that Hallstrom will be striving for – evidently mixing his own visual flair with the rich musical history of the tale.

Quickcard Review Ballerina Directed by: Bertrand Normand Cast: Uliana Lopatkina, Evguenya Obraztsova, Diana Vishneva Running Time: 1 hr 20 mins Rating: Unrated Plot: Follows the stories of five ballerinas with the Kirov Ballet of St. Petersburg to give an overview of the life of a dancer. Who’s It For? Fans of ballet, and girls who think it would be cool to grow up and be a ballerina. Overall Who doesn't want to be a Ballerina when they're a child? It's the dream of almost every little girl and some little boys. I always knew it was a lot of work, I've seen Fame. But yeah, being a Russian ballerina's apparently way harder than that. One of the earliest scenes shows a group of 10-year-old girls auditioning for the Kirov school. They're lined up...

What is 10 years old and has a small head, a slender figure and long arms and legs?
The ideal Russian girl hoping for a career in classical ballet.
That tidbit is contained in "Ballerina," a documentary by Bertrand Normand that goes inside St. Petersburgh's Mariinski Theater (formerly called the Kirov) to study the dancers - male and female, although the emphasis is on women - who study and perform there.
Normand, a 36-year-old Parisian, concentrates on five ballerinas, ranging from neophyte to veteran, including one woman trying for a comeback after being injured.
