I saw this short film on the DVD entitled "Sixth Media That Matters Film Festival". While I liked the idea of this film and the message that it's conveying, it drove me crazy because the film went so fast. Perhaps younger audiences will love this, but I felt so overwhelmed I just want to yell "SLOW DOWN!!!" as the narration went on at a billion lines per second (give or take a million).
The film is a monologue about ethnic and cultural pride--specifically how important it is for folks NOT to buy into the commercial message pouring at us all--how we should all be skinny, blonde and conforming to a ridiculous image instead of being who we are. A great message...but delivered too quickly--so quickly that it might turn off those who would strongly believe the filmmaker's point!
