This film from first-time director Brent Nelsen and writer/producer/actor Bill McAdams, Jr. represents a stellar effort in minimalistic, emotive drama. Just as important as what is said is what is left unsaid, yet brilliantly implied. McAdams does a fine job of conveying the desperate grief, guilt and despair of significant loss, and will make you look at "street people" in a new light. As a writer, McAdams is sparse, yet gives his audience credit for their intelligence and discernment. Fewer words have a stronger impact.
