This show is not stupid. That in itself is rare anymore. Nice to watch a show that I actually learn something from. And I always do learn a few new things. The stunts are interesting and answer questions I didn't know I had! Ryan and AmberLynn provide an entertaining contrast in personalities. She seems very quiet and a bit camera-shy, which is MUUUCH nicer to watch than some annoying person blathering on about nothing in a shrill voice, as in some other similar shows I won't name. Foxy helps.
Ryan doesn't overdo it either. He's mild-mannered but willing to take a serious beating, without much complaint. Other shows have people complaining far more about the sun in their eyes than he does when immersed in freezing water for 15 minutes, being set on fire or attacked by vicious dogs! I love it.
I'd like to see AmberLynn tossed into the ring sometime, even just to shake things up. Don't let Ryan steal all the fun! Although how much fun can be had from being buried alive under a meter of snow, I can't really say.
