Just like MgG went all out on Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, his porn counterpart Xavi D. pulled out all the stops for Sex Angels 2, including a Silence of the lambs spoof, a bungee jump a la Goldeneye and a fallen Angel first introduced as 'Demia Moore' , although later on people just start calling her Demi to make things easier.
Mya Diamond is back as the Lucy Liu lookalike. This time she's even changed her name to Lucy instead of Gwendolyne. She is joined by two new Angels (well, they used to rotate a lot on the TV show as well): Liliane Tiger sort of looks like Cameron Diaz too, especially when copying Cam's silly dance moves from the original film. Of course there' s just no chance of finding a double for Drew Barrymore in the entire Eatern European Porn business, so they picked Tiffany Hopkins. The split screen opening sequence promises a lot more action, stunts and vehicles this time around and again there are some establishing shots shot in San Francisco.
The plot takes a while to get going, as first each of the Angels has to have and/or recount a lengthy sex scene. At the end of each one an attempt on their lives is made. First Jessica (Tiffany)'s new beau runs into a booby trap on her stairs. Then Lucy (Mya) tells about her visit to a swingers club where she met two really cute guys with guns. Last is Susan (Liliane) who received a visit from a couple from 'the brotherhood of the entirely naked'. Wally deduces someone is out to get his Angels, so he sends Lucy to jailbird Dr. Hannibal Lester who wears a hockey mask in his cell. As if The Silence of the Lambs didn't get spoofed enough in the nineties (Loaded Weapon 1; Fatal Instinct; Silince of the Hams; Naked Gun 331/3; Wrongfully Accused to name a few) Of course Hannibal calls Lucy Clarise and bumps into the glass wall. Afterwards she agrees to a sex scene he gives her a hint to 'look among the fallen angels'.
Demia Moore runs a fallen angels place. So Susan and Jessica go and investigate. So they go to Demia's lair that's filled with hired killers and bikers. Unfortunately Sonia Baby (who gets the coveted 'And introducing' credit) looks absolutely nothing like Demi Moore. She tries to look evil and sexy at the same time but mostly ends up looking silly. It is at this point that the Angels forget that this was supposed to be a spoof and start calling her Demi instead. Just like in the previous Sex Angels film, Mya Diamond does all her work solo while the two lesser Angels never split up. Together they take on Demia and some of her boys in an orgy set to, of all things, country music. The entire plot is quickly wrapped up by gun toting Lucy in her tight leather outfit and that's about it.
Since there hasn't been a third installment in the Hollywood version of Charlies Angels, Private hasn't felt the need to churn out another Sex Angels either, though while browsing Mya's page on the IMDb, the 2005 title '2 Sex 3 Angels' does stand out. A mid-quell perhaps?
