Scary scenario

Warning: Spoilers
The cross over wasn't clear so I thought I'd missed episodes in CPD but they were in Chicago Med and CFD.

The prospect of dealing with flesh eating bacteria and a perp on the run is compelling. Especially after coming out of COVID just a year ago.

The demonstration of coordination and collaboration of emergency services in the service of the public was inspiring.

The final comments about the character of emergency services was similarly moving.

As for comments about Haley with a long range rifle, police develop a range of specialist skills through their attachments.

I'll have to look at it again but it seems that this episode might have some simple biology goofs, which would be disappointing.

Halie is a Female sniper?

Warning: Spoilers
The realism of this episode was not good. Shame on Eric for directing this episode and failing to add realistic Dr responsibilities. Physicians don't do compressions and the compressions before shock on the heart arrhythmia. The lack of gowns when they raid a lab that may have infectious diseases isn't realistic. The wouldn't be going in without proper attire. They could die from disease and not guns so protection of fluids would be main concern. Ok and Hailey is the new sniper? Where did she get her training and how has this ever not come up? Haha, really she is a sniper?

Disabled Actor - BRAVO!

I was recently watching this episode and was very surprised to learn the actor playing the security guard at the beginning of the episode, who walks down the hospital hallway with Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), is a leg amputee.

His name is Ricky Bartlett and an article said he lost his left leg to flesh-eating disease, which is what the episode was about. The article also said he recently lost his right leg as well.

Talk about art imitating life!

Other than that, the trilogy was good. As a nurse, I feel they need to reach out to more experts concerning medical diseases to portray more accuracy.

Entertaining and high adrenaline!

I saw a 10 minute clip of Infection part 2 on youtube and it was hard to find at first because the poster didn't put credit. But the thing that I dislike most is that I wish I ran into a yt vid of part 1 instead so I could have started it all and feel the action and suspense from the get go.

But alas too late I was invested in part 2 and watched until part 3 and honestly, it was SO FUN. I was supposed to watch a fun action movie like Ghosted but this actually drew me in. I understand that some of the protocols have not been followed in the tv series like not wearing a mask, and not wearing a hazmat, and i get it, the actors needed screen time. But atleast make an effort? Like atleast let them wear and remove it? Cuz this might teach people who are watching who don't know anything about infections and contagions that its ok not to mask up or suit up in the face of a dangerous outbreak! People already showed ignorance in co*vid. So not being accurate in precautions is not helping.

HOWEVER, if you don't know enough about medicine and don't see the mistakes, you just might end up enjoying the show. I loved it it felt like a movie. I was able to overlook some of the mistakes and just enjoy the high adrenaline action and mystery.

It could have been more realistic

It could have been more realistic, but came out as cartoonish.
