The perfect video for the perfect song

Like many of other videos from the group, "How Soon is Now?" also falls into the avant-garde mode with its series of unusual images destined to cause many different effects on viewers. Art at its greatest form. We have some images from The Smiths performing on stage, images that keep repeating itself and there's also Johnny Marr teaching Morrissey to play the guitar; along with images of a blonde girl who dominates the screen either walking or dancing in a fast-forward manner; and lots and lots of images of chimneys blowing smoke to the skies, an industrial view. Mixture of black-and-white, controlled colors and some blurred, obscured tones.

I just love it pure and simple, plus the song is definitely one of the greatest moments from the group with a heavily inspired Marr and his incendiary guitar dominating everything, Moz eloquent and powerful poetic lyrics, and also one of the greatest moments of rock n'roll. More than two decades ever since I started listening to it and it never fails to amaze me, and from time to time I like to take a look back at this video, certainly one of their finest, if not their very best. 10/10.
