BLACKWOOD CROSSING: Bitter-Sweet Story
Jinxxa_Wolf15 November 2021
Blackwood Crossing is a story about the relationship between two siblings Scarlett and Finn, and has something of an "Alice in Wonderland" vibe at times. The game takes the player into some surprising scenery and delves into some heavy emotions.

Overall, this was an interesting game. I played it by myself in a one-sitting period of maybe two hours. I felt the game could have been longer and the story further expanded upon, but I enjoyed it overall. It was very meaningful. The ending was a bit sad but moving, as well. Some of the ending felt a bit vague to me. I wish there were more details, perhaps in collectable story bits, to give us a greater narrative picture of what actually happened and a greater sense of closure. It felt as if there should have been more story somehow. Still, it was a decent play for an affordable price.

STORY: 8/10 GAMEPLAY: 8/10 GRAPHICS: 8/10 ART DESIGN: 8/10 MUSIC/SOUND: 9/10 OVERALL RATING: 8.5.
