I just wish that every of these incel killers would end like this one. World would be a much better place.

That was hilarious.

Warning: Spoilers
Leland's reaction was hilarious. I wonder how many incels he already went through that didn't get to the decisive moment because they did something stupid, something like that, even. Fortunate for him, at least there's a long list of them to use. I guess he won't have time to be a villain. He'll be too busy trying to be successful at honing someone to do a similar act and actually doing it or getting to that point without messing it all up. /s.

Familiar Face, Great Pace
ebnc27 October 2021
Wow! It was great to see Peter Scolari in this episode. Hadn't seen him since he was Michael on Newhart. This episode was a good one because it wasn't predictable and it left just enough intrigue at the end to make me look forward to the next episode with anticipation and not frustration. Overall, the series is the perfect mix of spookiness with each new case and a strong ongoing background story with the feud between Kristen and Leland.

Andy suggestion...
songod-9500316 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Andy's suggestion Kristen lead the next group up Everest seems a bit off.

I have seen documentaries on climbing Everest and it is perhaps the most, if not one of the most, dangerous climbs. Now I do not know how far these tours go; but if they go for the summit, well, there is a great chance you will die. Blizzards and avalanches have killed more people than I can number. AND their bodies remain there - no recovery effort as the people are buried under feet of snow and ice. Just recently due to thawing, bodies of people who died in the 1950's on Everest and some back as far as the 1920's have been able to be recovered by helicopter.

Thus Andy suggesting his wife, who has not climbed professionally in however long a time, take on Everest... well, sounds like old Andy is hoping for an accident!!

Boring and without evil
vijayendraroy7 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This show started with a lot of promise but it's fizzing out now. It's about adultery and senseless social commentary ( how was that kid so easily persuaded to commit mass shooting, it just isn't realistic!).

Bouchard Is An Atheist.
wandernn1-81-6832744 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So we start here with Dr. Townsend talking with his new protege, Sebastian.

This EP was a decent one, especially when Sebastian accidently blows himself up and Townsend has a melt down. He's going to have to find another protege.

Now it veers into religious propaganda...
josechr23 April 2023
I liked the show, it was goofy and fun, with the "Scully and Mulder" interaction between David and his two associates.

The creators doesn't particularily shy away from where they stand in this matter, they are very clear about religion being just as a valid model of the world as anything science finds. A bit comical and archaic in this day and age, when most have access to higher education and information is widespread. But it was ok. People have different viewpoints. Kristin often acted as the shill for David and the creators version of "reality"

This time, however, the propaganda gets a bit more aggressive. Now we got full on anti-psychiatry, as well as the usual misandric drivel we are expecting from American shows today with the side story of the incel wannabe mass murderer. But led to do this by a demon, you see. Because we should accept that some things are driven by metaphysical forces, and stop trying to understand the human mind by looking at wider societal changes, upbringings, the role of mass media, untreated mental illness, gun control or any other "worldly" causes. And religion is argued to be just as correct at explaining the world as scientific models, because science keep changing because it is always improving, challenged, new effects and causes uncovered and always move towards more precision over time, while religious dogma stays the same through centuries....

Going nowhere
Calicodreamin14 October 2020
This show seems like it's starting to go nowhere fast. This episode didn't go very far in the way of main storyline development and it all still seems on the edge of pointless. Fairly good acting and cinematography.

No longer fun
neverenoughgold7 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This show held promise in the beginning, and I had high hopes for the Michael Emerson character. Unfortunately he is now just creep con artist and I am truly disappointed ' The latest con with an impressionable kid is disgusting and inappropriate to say the least. I'm just thankful he accidentally did himself in at the end of the show and didn't actually take out innocent people.

Love the show however this episode should have a warning
kelley123110 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The incle grooming is hard to watch in the two episodes where he's being shown steps to take back his power. One scene where he's pretending to shoot females at a gym before being taught how to shoot with a semi automatic weapon. The episode didn't come with a warning at the beginning which in my opinion along with other sensitive or possible triggering subjects do.

Pointless Lawsuit Story
Johnny_West6 December 2019
The demonic exorcism lady that was possessed and throwing up all over her house a couple of episodes ago, now files a lawsuit against Mike Colters and the Catholic Church. An entire treatment history has happened at the hands of another therapist, which is impossible in the time frame of a few weeks.

This episode has nothing to do with Evil, and is more along the lines of social commentary regarding therapy and religion. The personal injury attorney is named Ms. Lemonhead, which is the source of dumb jokes from the Church attorney, who also happens to be the ex-lover of Mike Colters. It seems like everyone in EVIL has some history with everyone else.

The story plays out at a deposition, where all the witnesses are asked questions at the same time. No order to it, just everyone arguing over each other. I did not even see a court reporter in the room. The day after Katja Herbers is deposed, she is deposed again, because the Plaintiff's attorney has new questions. There is nothing realistic about that.

This episode is a waste of time. What is the point of this episode? Even worse, the four bratty kids come into the story towards the end, screaming and yelling their lungs out.

Disappointed with the direction this episode went
kearjr9 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Really disappointed with the direction that Michael Emerson's character went on this show and found encouraging a mass shooting tasteless. It makes me wonder if there was an Emerson equivalent in the writer's room of this episode influencing the direction that it went.
