The story has been thought out and develops clearly

The average spectator will probably like this offering, although the statement of the situation may, at first, displease most. It makes its hero of a man who is profligate enough to go off on a spree with fast women when he is engaged to a decent woman. She passes and sees the drunken group and gives him his dismissal. The development then shows how they still love each other and how they are brought together again by his rather far-fetched heroism. It is shown as a part of the development that the man is disgusted with himself, for he throws the whiskey bottle away. It is very fairly acted; the story has been thought out and develops clearly. The photography is commendable. - The Moving Picture World, October 11, 1913
