A product of tech era

While beautifully conceived, it is always sad to see how some things change when not for the better. A second date not coming to fruition used to be par for the course when dating. Sometimes neither person was interested, sometimes it was only one. We used to have the wherewithal to face the person and let them know that despite all of their positive attributes, we weren't interested. And we'd be on our way forward to the next possibility. It's quite disappointing to see that many people ghost because it's so easy. It's also disappointing to see that how much of someone's sense of self is now wrapped up in these responses. It's not like you've invested your heart for months, or years. It's only a second date. And it's the other guy who should be sad that he's not a fully formed human being with sympathy towards others. So get back on that dating app, or go to a bar, or corner store and find yourself another first date.

A simple story about the second date. Prepaires . Expectations. SMS messages and no answer. The frustration. And the final dance. The beauty of this special short film is result of a great simplicity, charming for the fine explore of nuances, powerful for the final peace. Short, one of films, without dialogue, working as a sort of X ray for the viewer. Short, just beautiful, scene by scene.
