Pretty wild

A pretty wild story showing just how a great defense can change the tide of a court case. The documentary was well made, the interviews were relevant and the timeline well established. Liked the follow up on the key players.

Only in America.....

Accused of a huge scale fraud, CEO Richard Scrushy appoints an unusual defence team, and takes an interesting path as he faces a media onslaught.

Ok, so to begin with, I must point out, I am British, so lots of this one just seems absolutely and utterly absurd, from what I could see Scrushy did an incredible job of pulling the wool over everyone's eyes, distracting onlookers with humour and religion.

The events of this are just unbelievable, tasteless in so many ways, those stunts with the presenting, and flag, come on, wonderfully theatrical, but totally distracting from the fundamentals of what was happening, fraud, fraud on a grand scale.

Scrushy is definitely charismatic, super smart, he knew what he was doing, a masterclass of storytelling. This was described as a circus, they weren't wrong there.

Healthsouth, astonishing. I have no more words for what I've just watched.

Very well made, theatrically produced and put together, some of these interviews could have been cut from a witty spoof.

7/10.

Warning: Spoilers
I don't think the case was as interesting as some of the other ones, but I enjoyed the interviews. We didn't see much from the actual court, but they explained it in great detail. The ending segment was funny.
