This is a touching photodrama with a plot commencing during the Civil War and carried on until the denouement. A bottle of wine was sealed by the club and on the label was written each member's name. It was to be opened by the surviving member in the coming years. James Wheeler, an old G.A.R. member, is the last man. An interesting romance is allied, which makes the episode a charming offering. - The Moving Picture World, May 9, 1914
