If one thing is clear after The Way Home Season 2 Episode 6, it's that now is the time to loop Del into the family travels.
If any of us had the chance to alleviate the pain that woman feels, we would do it in a heartbeat.
If you want a full episode recap, please click the link above. We're going deep into Del's pain and the what-if-ness of the whole situation below.
"How to Save a Life" was an incredibly dense episode that uncovered many new details, some of which I've got a bone to pick about.
However, the overarching theme of loss prevailed throughout the episode and needs to be explored.
Kat keeps telling everyone who knows about finding Jacob that she doesn't think she can lose him again if it comes to that.
Yes, she can and will, whether now or decades later. People die, but it doesn't mean...

From the jump, Wyatt Flores has made mental health advocacy a part of his songwriting and live performances. When Wyatt Flores opened for Charles Wesley Godwin at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville earlier this month, he surprised fans by weaving a rendition of the Fray’s 2006 hit “How to Save a Life” into his set list. Shortly after Christmas, the 22-year-old songwriter from Stillwater, Oklahoma, dropped a studio version of the cover. It’s a recording that underscores Flores’ commitment to talking openly about mental health.

Heading into the fourth episode of “The Voice” Season 20, the teams were almost evenly divided as John Legend, Blake Shelton and Nick Jonas all had six artists and Kelly Clarkson had five. The ultimate goal coming out of these blind auditions is for each coach to have 10 artists on their teams, so we’re more than halfway there. Reminder: thanks to John blocking Nick from getting Ciana Pelekai on his team last night, all of the blocks are now out of play. So what types of artists did the coaches discover during Tuesday’s hour-long episode?

There's no question that Grey's Anatomy is the number one medical drama. It boasts numerous accolades and an unending list of seasons.
It's too difficult to choose even the top five episodes when there are literally hundreds to choose from, so don't make us!
Instead, we've challenged ourselves to choose a must-see episode from each of the 16 seasons.
Whether it's an episode dedicated to a major disaster, a farewell to a long-lasting character, or a nail-biting cliffhanger, find which ones landed on our list.
And if you're looking to binge-watch some old memories, don't forget to include the episodes below!
No Man's Land (Grey's Anatomy Season 1 Episode 4)
Season 1 is the shortest of the seasons, making this an easier choice. It would be cheating to say the first episode was our favorite, so we're going smack dab in the middle.

Of the five films Oscar-nominated for Documentary Short Subject, three address the Syrian civil war and refugee crisis: “4.1 Miles,” a New York Times Op-Doc about a Greek Coast Guard Captain and the boatloads of refugees he rescues daily; “Watani: My Homeland,” about one family’s migration from front-line Aleppo to a small town in Germany; and “The White Helmets,” Netflix’s portrait of the volunteer first responders in Aleppo, from the director/producer team behind the 2015 Oscar-nominated feature documentary, “Virunga.”

As the U.S, and Russia agree upon another tentative ceasefire in Syria, civilians on the ground are not holding their breath that the fighting will end. Syrian civilians have been let down far too many times. Instead, the Syrian people are continuing to do as they have done for the past few years, taking humanitarian matters into their own hands to minimize loss of life.
The White Helmets, a group of nearly 3,000 civilian volunteer rescue workers, exemplify this spirit. These are the men and women who run into smoldering rubble, the aftermath of airstrikes, dig out the dead and injured. Thursday Update: Divergent earned an estimated $4.9 million from late Thursday shows. In comparison, the first Twilight opened to $7 million at midnight in November 2008. If Divergent follows an identical pattern, it will wind up close to $50 million for the three-day weekend.Forecast: Young-adult adaptation Divergent, which is being positioned as the successor to Twilight and The Hunger Games, should easily take first place at the box office this weekend. Meanwhile, Muppets Most Wanted also opens, though with a bit less fanfare than its predecessor.Opening at 3,936 theaters, Divergent is the latest in a long line of young-adult adaptations aimed at the young female audience that turned out in droves for the Hunger Games and Twilight franchises. Unfortunately, other recent attempts have been less-than-impressive: in the past 14 months alone, Beautiful Creatures, The Host, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Vampire Academy all bombed. No question about it, Divergent is in a league above those movies.

On what will likely be the quietest weekend of the year, sci-fi sequel Riddick easily took first place with $19.03 million. The Top 12 earned an estimated $66.1 million, which is the lowest figure yet in 2013. Still, that's up 27 percent from last year, which makes this a decent start to the month of September.Opening at 3,107 theaters, Riddick's $19.03 million debut is right in line with modest expectations. Adjusting for ticket price inflation, Riddick had slightly higher initial attendance than Pitch Black, but was way below 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick (which cost around three times as much). Otherwise, star Vin Diesel doesn't have a ton of movies to compare to, though it is worth noting that this opening is well above 2008's Babylon A.D. ($9.5 million). With school and the NFL season getting underway, many people tend to stay away from movie theaters around this time of year. As a result, it has...

With Summer officially in the rearview mirror, the Fall season kicks off this weekend with only one new nationwide release: sci-fi action sequel Riddick opens in 3,107 theaters, and should easily take first place at the box office. Add in some appealing holdovers*including surprise hit Instructions Not Included*and this weekend should be a step above the norm for September.Riddick marks the third time that Vin Diesel has portrayed the titular character, though it's the first time in nearly a decade. The first appearance was in 2000's Pitch Black, which earned a decent $39.5 million before becoming a bit of a cult classic. Four years later*and after Diesel had appeared in hits The Fast and the Furious and XXX*he returned to the Riddick role in The Chronicles of Riddick. Unfortunately, that sequel cost significantly more than its predecessor but only earned $57.8 million*and it wasn't particularly well-liked either.

As many iTunes lovers and Youtube fanatics understand, music (old and new) has become a huge factor on hit television shows and both the show and artists featured benefit from the collaboration. Ever YouTube a certain scene from your favorite show for hours on end? Did it have a catchy song that you immediately downloaded? Yes, the odds are that you have.
Television show soundtracks are an obsession over here and the music played make that specific scene that much more memorable. Grey's Anatomy and Shonda Rimes have featured fantastic music at Seattle Grace and continue to do so. Matching the right songs for a medical show may seem hard, but it comes off natural and easy for the series. This can definitely be seen in memorable scenes using The Fray's "How To Save A Life" and Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars."

The Fray, the band that brought you the seminal hit "How To Save a Life," performed the National Anthem at the Ncaa Championship game last night, and let's just say that it didn't go over well with the public.
Many thought that The Fray's folksy-acoustic arrangement of "The Star-Spangled Banner" was a poor choice for the band.
"The Denver rock band tried to rework the 198-year-old song into a modern hipster version and failed in every respect," wrote Yahoo! Sports. "Finger-picking mood guitar, emo vocals and a guy doing his best impersonation of a Civil War drummer boy make not for a fine anthem. If you weren't listening to the lyrics, you'd have never known the band was singing our national anthem."
But at the end of the day, at least The Fray remembered all of the words to the anthem -- a feat that even the greatest divas can't seem to master.

On its first two albums, The Fray specialized in pleasant-sounding singles like “How To Save A Life” and “You Found Me” that were arena-friendly, though not terribly distinctive. The Denver quartet’s third album, Scars & Stories, includes more of the same sincere piano-led anthems, but the real surprise is just how bland The Fray’s music has truly become. Gone are the memorable, sing-along choruses, and in their place are tedious melodies presented in the most predictable way imaginable. Arena-friendly pop-rock doesn’t have to be this boring. The Fray’s heroes Coldplay know how to change things up, accentuating ...

It's pretty clear that Grey’s Anatomy has stepped its game back up and is on a roll with Season 8. From Zola being admitted to the penis transplant, "Love, Loss and Legacy” brought the show's A game. So sit back and relax; time to dig in.
Catherine Jackson. Well, well. It is nice to meet the lady who produced the man with the gorgeous eyes. Debbie Allen stepped in front of the camera to guest star as Jackson’s mother. The sometimes Ga director made quite the appearance, bringing with her a penis transplant and her meddling ways. Jackson was sweet to send Lexie away while his mother came to town (of course we know this is because Chyler Leigh is taking some time off) but how great would it have been to see Momma Avery go toe to toe with Little Grey?...

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has recorded a cover of Arcade Fire's 'Rebellion (Lies)'. The singer-songwriter performed the track on her recent tour and has now laid down a studio version for a Samaritans charity record. Songs To Save A Life will be available from October 3. Ellis-Bextor said: "I've always been a really big fan of Arcade Fire, so we chose this as a song to cover for my tour. "It's quite nice to pay homage to your influences when you do live shows. It's such a dynamic tune, and it builds so nicely." She added: "It's very pop too - I think Arcade Fire have an incredible pop sensibility, their songs always have great hooks and lots of drama. "So, it was the obvious choice when it came to doing a cover for the Samaritans album, which is clearly for a very worthy cause. I hope people like (more)...

Atlas Shrugged: Part I was the top-grossing limited release of the weekend, generating an estimated $1.7 million at 300 single-screen locations. For a pure independent release, Atlas Shrugged: Part I's opening was fine. But for the first-ever adaptation of Ayn Rand's influential mega-selling 1957 novel that had far more media hype than any other independent movie could dream of, it was disappointing. There aren't many direct comparisons, because it's rare that an adaptation of such a famous book gets such a modest release. Atlas Shrugged: Part I opened higher than recent limited Christian movies The Grace Card and To Save a Life, and it was distributor Rocky Mountain Pictures' third highest-grossing launch, behind End of the Spear and Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. But none of those movies are significant in the grand scheme of things. They're all still blips, even if Atlas was a slightly bigger blip than many. What's more,...

Sara Ramirez led her "Grey's Anatomy" cast mates in Thursday's (March 30) musical episode and now the soundtrack is available on iTunes.
Also, Ramirez just released her 4 song Ep, which includes "The Story," which is also available on iTunes.
The episode revolved around Ramirez's character, Callie, who got into a car accident with her girlfriend, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). That was the event that sent an extremely injured Callie hallucinating that she and her colleagues who were trying to save her expressed their emotions in song.
A Tony winner for her role in Broadway's "Spamalot," we already knew the girl could sing. But, what about her cast mates? They also showed quite a talent for the musical arts.
Here's a list of all the songs from the episode and who sang them:
"Breathe (2Am)," Anna Nalick - Chyler Leigh (Lexie)"Chasing Cars," Snow Patrol - Kevin McKidd (Owen), Chandra Wilson (Miranda), and...

If “Glee,” and “E.R.” had a baby it would be tonight’s episode of the medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy” titled “Song Beneath the Song.” The staff at Seattle Grace had a patient that was one of their own. That tends to happen a lot at this hospital.

ABC/Ron Tom Sara Ramirez in “Song Beneath the Song,” a special musical episode of “Grey’s Anatomy.”
The doctors and nurses on the TV drama “Grey’s Anatomy” do a lot of unusual things at Seattle Grace Hospital–they have sex in back rooms, they fight off crazed gunmen, and, on occasion, they’re even haunted by ghosts. On tonight’s episode, the cast will try something that maybe seems relatively realistic: they’ll break into song.

MTV has picked up its remake of the award-winning British series The Inbetweeners to series with a 12-episode order. Brad Copeland wrote the adaptation and serves as the showrunner. He is executive producing with Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, creators of the original series, and Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment. The Inbetweeners, which was greenlighted to pilot in September, stars Joey Pollari (Avalon High), Bubba Lewis (To Save a Life), The Virginity Hit star Zack Pearlman and Mark L. Young (Big Love) in a high school comedy described as Superbad meets Freaks and Geeks. It revolves around four high school boys (Pollari, Lewis, Pearlman, Young) who belong to the "inbetweeners" social class -- teens who are not the most cool and popular but not geeky enough to be branded uncool. Taika Waititi (The Flight of the Concords) directed the pilot. This marks the third series pickup for Kapital Entertainment out of four produced pilots.

The upcoming "Grey's Anatomy" music event promises to be heart-stopping for the fans and possibly for one of our favorite characters: Callie (Sara Ramirez) along with her unborn baby.
On Thursday's (March 31) episode, we join Callie and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) after a horrible car accident.
"So, before you can even figure out why it is that she asks Callie to marry her," Capshaw tells TVGuide.com. "They're in this horrible situation."
"I don't know how anybody survives that," Ramirez tells the site. "But, I'll tell you something: It's a wake-up call of epic proportions for Callie. What lies in front of her [after the accident] is more than just glass. It's an opportunity to fight for her life and to make sense of why her life, and her life with Arizona, is worth fighting for, if that's the case."

So far I've collected six separate 2010 compilation videos looking back at the this year's collection of films. To the best of my knowledge, these six videos include clips from 303 films and together they total 34:34. I have included the complete list of films on the second page if you are interested. Let me know if I'm missing any, but I think it's pretty safe to say if you liked a film in 2010 one of these following videos will feature it.
So, have a watch and leave your thoughts on which one is your favorite in the comments below and if you find another one online that I should add to the collection shoot me an email.

If you were trapped under a rock this year (it happens) take six minutes to watch this YouTube short. Half music video, half trailer remix, “Filmography 2010″ cuts together the year’s hits, flops and everything in between to catchy music.
Even if you’re a jaded movie buff who hates year end schmaltz, the recap should pluck your heartstrings. So many great and touching moments this year, it’s enough to make you wonder how the Golden Globes managed to totally blow their nominations.
But we digress. Check out the video after the jump.
How many films do you recognize? Below is full list of the films in the order that they appear. Enjoy!

Every December these ‘best of the year’ video montages make the last 12 months of cinema seem infinitely more pleasant to sit through than they actually were. Here’s the first of many that are sure to be made before the sand in the hourglass runs out on 2010, this one from a gal going by the name of Gen I, who sent in this effort to /film.
There’s 270 movies in this montage below ranging from all the well known blockbusters, to smaller docs, foreign fare and even some Japanese anime! I can’t begin to imagine how long or how much skill it takes to put something as high-quality as this together…
Full list of the tracks and films shown are below;

Now that we're about two weeks till the end of 2010, the film industry will be looking back to figure out the best movies of the year and will pick winners during the many awards shows. Today, we have a video that captures 2010 pretty well by showing scenes from the year's 270 films, including some that have yet to hit theaters. There will likely be plenty more of these montages in the next few weeks, but the video is definitely one of the better ones that I have seen. Check out the six-minute video below, in addition to a full list of all the films that were used. Questions: How many of the films listed did you actually see in full? Video: Films in Order of Appearance: 1. Iron Man 2 2. The Social Network 3. Saw 3D 4. Tron: Legacy 5. Never Let Me Go 6. Legion 7. The Book of Eli 8. Easy A 9. The Runaways 10. Farewell 11. It's getting closer and closer to the end of the year, and we've already seen a couple top 10 lists and critic choice awards announced. Since we began posting "best of the year" video montages a few years back, it seems a lot of new wannabe video editors have emerged. Maybe the software has become cheaper or more accessible, or maybe the coverage on sites like /Film and other movie blogs garnered interest in the task. Last year I received a dozen or so best of videos, most of them were not anything we would share on the site. I think we posted three in total last year, two of which were created by video editors we've featured in previous years [1]. Today I was sent the first "best of 2010" video montage of the season, from a video editor named Gen I. I'll admit that while I was expecting the worst, I came out pleasantly surprised.

Despite being both prolific and profitable, the niche market of Christian themed movies is often the target of some frankly unfair derision, usually based on little else beyond the fact that they are Christian themed movies. But to tear down To Save a Life because it promotes faith is to bash The Dark Knight on the grounds that Nolan didn't have Batman and the Joker sit down and talk through their issues with one another, or to suggest that Twilight's Bella should simply 'Get over it.' These films are what they are, and to attack them for simply being that which defines them is to miss the point in the most reactionary sense.
That said, there is obviously very little in the way of mystery to most Christian movies, and To Save a Life, the directorial debut from longtime cinematographer Brian Baugh, is no exception. God is the answer to your problems,...

Kick-Ass
At this point, is there anything left to say about Kick-Ass? Real people become vigilante superheroes. It's been done before, but this time, it's got a jaw-dropping Hit Girl, a role that's made one Chloe Moretz a sensation. In his review, Todd Gilchrist wrote: "as a full-length film, Kick-Ass is a great comic book come to life, but not much else. A faithful recreation of the rhythms of episodic funny-paper storytelling ... [it] never quite finds enough cohesion or dramatic clarity to become a fully satisfying film." Diary of a Wimpy Kid: "Essentially, Wimpy Kid is only slightly better than its trailers ("Wanna see my secret freckle? It's got a hair in it!") would suggest, and it's sort of like "The Wonder Years" with much less charm and no sense of nostalgia. Unlike the young Fred Savage, actor Zachary Gordon doesn't make us feel for Greg, who isn't so much an anguished soul trapped in a short kid's body but, instead, a conceited, opportunistic, and unfeeling prick with an inexplicably inflated sense of self worth. At home, Greg has a sadistic older brother Rodrick (Devon Bostick) and inattentive parents Susan (Rachael Harris) and Frank Heffley (Steve Zahn, nooooo) who are portrayed as idiots. At school, fellow outcasts Fregley (Grayson Russell) and Rowley (Robert Capron) are company; the latter is Greg's best friend from grade school, who is suddenly a huge embarrassment with a girly bike, rotund body,...

You don't need to show Jesus on the cross to make a hit religious film. In fact, you don't need that much religion at all. Catherine Shoard hears the good news from the makers of 'faith films'
Blog: What's your relationship with God at the flicks?
Generally, when a camera breaks on a film set, the first move is to call the technicians. Not so on Letters to God. When equipment went wrong on that film – a based-on-a-true-story weepie about a cancer-stricken child whose missives to the almighty redeem an alcoholic postman – the drill was: pray first, check the fuses later. But it wasn't just techies falling to their knees. It was religious professionals.
"We had prayer warriors on set every day," says director David Nixon, "people who knew nothing of film-making, but who knew how to pray. When I'd yell 'action' they'd go into action and start praying. They'd pray for the actors.

Faith films are burgeoning in the United States, but would you welcome them here in the UK? Or is religious scepticism the key to cinematic excellence?
Feature: Faith films perform a marketing miracle
There is, I think, something really curious happening at the moment, which I explored in a recent feature. A drop-off in conventional funding methods, together with a rise in the United States of devout Christianity and an increasing dislike of Hollywood's baser fixations, has paved the way for a new wave of super-profitable faith-based films. And though they've not washed up on these shores yet, the actions of UK distributors, in tapping church audiences for custom with mainstream releases they feel might strike a chord, suggests there's a hunger over here too.
But how far is this true? There are a few complicating factors. The first is funding. A reliance on the munificence of others leaves faith...
