Pretty good show..
mandyjohnson-4635724 September 2020
It was a pretty good show of you don't mind how "Extra" Jay's wife is. The kids are your typical kids.

I just feel the show really didn't portray their relationship as good as it could have. From what I understand they have a great marriage the way it portrayed, she puts everything first except him. That's terrible too if she is really a nice lady.

Not sure how COVID has helped or not helped this family as I know RF was retiring this year but I can't see them staying long term if this is how he really feels about their relationship.

Absolutely ridiculous
hondagirl-0003420 August 2020
Spoiled kids with zero manners, stuck up wife who is so centered around herself that she completely ignores her husband. Extended family members who have no boundaries. The poor husband just tries to be part of his family ...... and gets treated bad the whole time.

Scripted mind numbing waste of time

This is awful scripted trash TV. That mother in law is a real piece of work. The kids are spoiled rotten ungrateful brats. This pretentious wanna be Barbie crap his wife does is nauseating not cute. What a rough life they have in that giant house.

A little scripted but fun.

Clearly a little scripted but it's fun. Not thrilled about how they treated Moose the St. Bernard.

Disturbing

Those kids are an absolute embarrassment to their family. I cannot believe anybody finds this funny or entertaining. Such a horrible example of what place and behaviour they should have as kids. It's not even their fault. I guess its the producer's fault for believing anybody finds this "cute". I feel bad for the guy being married to a person who is completely obnoxious and unaware of the care you should give to your couple. Furthermore, if this whole show is scripted and none of this is true well, even worse! What a waste

LOL

LOL, which is the point! I have only watched the first few episodes; Jay is funny and just trying to be a good husband. Allison is up tight and together they make me laugh! It's good entertainment.

The script was a bit much.
jessicaerin-005415 September 2020
I enjoyed it! I loved Jay and his carefree look at life. No reality tv show is "reality." This show is way too scripted so if it is renewed something needs to change in that aspect. The wife made me more sad than anything. Her outlook on being perfect 😢 I hope that they work on their marriage because that was painful to watch. If it is renewed his family needs to be represented more along with his friends. I appreciate mindless entertainment that is lighthearted and this was that.

Lighten the Truck Up
waltermwilliams5 September 2020
FFS! Lighten up people. Aren't we allowed to enjoy a laugh during World War C. This is simple, mindless, escapism into the lives of this funny, relatable, family despite their wealthy lifestyles. Who cares if it's scripted? It's funny! Who cares if there's actors? It gives people a break from the reality surrounding us in tough recession times. Well done Jay & Allie on amusing us, making us laugh out loud and even quote some of the hilarious lines. Jay plays great bass and his band rock. His wife is drop dead gorgeous and he knows he's boxing above his weight. The entire family including the mother in law take the Mickey out of each other in a fun, non poisonous way unlike some reality shows. Keep up the good work and bring on S2.

Not great

This is not a reality show, it is so scripted and not in a good way! So disappointed, doubt it will make a second season and if it does I will not be watching.

Horrible stupidity
heyvakoo25 August 2020
Didnt know any of these people but looked like a light hearted show. I should get a free month of netflix. The waste of money to produce this show. The adults seem like generally nice rich people. But the kids I hope they are really not that obnoxious. The stories uggg stupid does not make funny or good entertainment

Hideous reality show please do not renew
klyons-525043 September 2020
This show is desperate and hard to watch. The mother -in- law is an uptight, self righteous prude with the worst personality ever. The wife is scared to move or show emotion afraid of bursting, popping or wrinkling she's so tight. The sister- in- law is all over the place with her flamboyant mouth. The kids are lacking any kind of discipline, rich and spoiled. Jay is the only relaxed, laid back person that's enjoyable to watch. This has Todd Chrisley sarcasm sketched all in it. Gloating in their wealth to say the least.

Idealistic Family fun
ncoutdoorgirl18 October 2023
As I started watching the series, I am a bit bias cause I really do like Rascal Flatts music. The rules they have for each other are hilarious that you might want to think about having them for your family, well, some of them. Especially when the kids tell on their parents! They have a beautiful home located in Tennessee. They are rooted in spending family time together with surprises. One who always throws surprises at their partner and the other partner who definitely doesn't like them. One family member I find it hard to like/enjoy, is Allison's sister. Would love to see more of Jays family included a bit more.
