Things that I liked: the chemistry between the 2 main characters the jokes are funny

BUT

I don't remember one scene where the 2 main characters are separated (in the story, yes, but not in the movie). They are the only real characters, all the other people are just there, they don't serve any real purpose at all. Almost all the scenes look and feel the same. The story wasn't even worth the 1 hr. This entire movie could have been better off as a short film.

Oh yeah... the star thing was cheesy and cliche.

Cliche-ish

I tried giving it a chance by watching it for about 36 minutes. What a waste of time! Highly irritating dialogues in very cringy situations, like a teen movie in the 90's but played by adults in their 30's. It's cheesier than a block of asiago. Not cute, not romantic, and definitely not good.

Everything was horrible. Lines, plot, Alessandra's acting are all very bad. It's a lame movie. Overacting.. All the bad in one movie.

One of the BEST Filipino movies

Relatable. Poignant. Funny.

Alessandra de Rossi and Piolo Pascual were outstanding and their chemistry was perfect!

The plot is truly remarkable and it is nothing like most Filipino movies. Being typical is not bad but this movie will let you see a different perspective in friendship and love. Finally, the ending is absolutely surprising which will make you want to see it again.

Long car commercial with zero substance

The irrelevance and trivia of this movie can hardly be outperformed. The dialogues are completely banal (which made me angry, because I had to read this shit). About the outside locations I wondered: Where the h*** has this been recorded? The main characters drive with around in expensive cars (that I couldn´t afford and I belong to the 10 % people with the highest income in Germany) through a countryside that is so deserted that I inevitably thought that all other people and vessels must have been kept out during the production. It all appears completely artificial.

Additionally, we get to see a complete illusory world where the protagonists have no other problems than where the hamster stays after the separation, what the ex texted or who gets to sing the favorite Karaoke song first. One gets to hang out with one´s best friend all the time. No need to work or any everyday life chores.

The director Die Regisseurin Alessandra de Rossi is actually actress - she should have stuck with her first profession.

Ho hum... To call it boring is an understatement. The plot was not remotely interesting at all. I was surprised with Alessandra's performance. She seemed like a rookie trying to do so much to give life to bland scripts and dull scenes, to give the illusion that she was shining in her craft. No amount of acting and diction can save an atrocious dialoge and lifeless scenes. I found her speech irritating as she sounded like a dude.

May I know who is the director...

I think there is a problem ..... it is too much pretending to be romantic movie... but the trick he used is too over and too low in technique...

Waste of 2 hours....

You may watch if you really want to know how boring it is....

Best Friends Forever

This film is a breath of fresh air. It's supposedly based on a true story of De Rossi's friend. You wonder whether this can happen in real life.

It chronicles memorable personal moments of best friends forever (Fuffy and Fream), funny and irreverent most of the time but occasionally sad. As such it has a playful tone, and pacing doesn't tarry unnecessarily.

As usual, Piolo Pascual's acting chops are on display here in his role as Fuffy. And Alessandra de Rossi is a pleasant surprise notably because she debuts as writer-director. She portrays the role of a gilted wife well. The ever dependable Luz Valdez essays her role as Fream's grandma credibly.

The outdoor shots are great.

It ends quite unexpectedly. At that point, the viewer realizes why it's important for Fuffy to tell their story as the film's narrator.

To be honest they're lack of chemistry the story is too shallow and predictable. And the ending was horrible. Like seriously ?? The scripts and lines it's not really good 😅. They need better script writers a professional one. We're in 2022 people are expecting more from movies these days. Plus they act like teenagers in this movie too childish for both of them.

Alessandra was really great in this movie, acting-wise and how the movie played out.

This is the first time im reviewing a movie, it was that good. Very realistic and yet surreal.

It's a nice movie of friendship. It just shows no matter what mistake you choose in life there is always one friend who will be there for you.
