A Review Strictly For The "Sleep Trouble" Segment

Another fun, silly episode of "Rugrats" I hadn't seen since I was very, very young (and probably on VHS tape, too).

This episode is about a windy night, when Tommy's dad tells Tommy and Chucky about the Sand Man myth. The two fellows get frightened by this idea, and decide to set traps all over the house, just so they can protect themselves from the Sand Man.

I must say that the best part of this episode is the ending, with Charles (Chucky's dad). Some of my very favorite episodes of "Rugrats" involve Charles and Chucky's relationship as father and son. The show always deals with that so well, and always makes me feel warm and a little teary, when they go into that area. The rest of the episode is just a "Home Alone"-type story, and it's fine, for what it is. Not my favorite episode, but certainly not bad, at all.

The music is good, as usual for the "Rugrats" cartoon. The music is very fitting for this episode.

The art style is nice, and the animation is smooth, in its running.

If you're a fan of "Rugrats", and you haven't happened to see this episode yet, check it out. It was solid, with a nice, cozy ending. Gotta love this old show.
