Not bad for 48 hours!
planktonrules23 April 2009
A girl is saddened because her music teacher is sad and wants to discontinue their lessons. At the same time, her grandfather is full of regrets for what he hasn't yet done in life. So, in a flash of inspiration, she tries to manipulate them into meeting--knowing they are bound to hit it off well.

This is a likable and sweet little film. While it certainly won't change your life and isn't among the best films I've seen, it is nonetheless very exciting to watch considering it was made in conjunction with a 48-hour film contest. For independent film makers, there are several such contests and once the participants are given the parameters (such as subject matter or materials they must use in the film) they are let loose to film, edit, score and complete an entire short film in only two days! Considering the time constraints, this is a truly remarkable film.
