I know first seasons are really rocky. This show deserves points for being relatively fresh with an eclectic group of characters. I usually avoid overselling anything, but this was my favorite episode so far. Right balance of life issues and laughs, not getting too heavy while hitting on a very relatable topic. More of this, please. Tell Leslie Jordan not to change a thing; the writing for his "Phil" is just right. Some will argue, "well, it's just him being him", and guess what? WE KNOW. It works.

Comedy, light and deals with real life topics

I love that for a comedy, they touch on difficult life choices we face in a daily life as an adult and issues that we really do deal with in real life. It's light, it's funny, relatable, and exactly what we need to lighten up the mood in an already stressful life.

Good lord it just gets worse and worse.

Once again the characters that have no chemistry whatsoever are forced together to try to eek out some laughs. Mayim was never meant to be a lead character she just doesn't have the acting skill. Still sick of the 4th wall breaking, it takes me completely out of the show and the laugh track comes in pretty much every sentence. Cannot stand watching this and only did to review it.
