He engaged the services of a house broker to obtain a quote, but despite multiple attempts, the house owner remained steadfast, demanding a staggering 50 lakhs. However, the true market value of the house was a mere 25 lakhs. Frustrated by the impasse, the buyer decided to confront the house owner directly at the property.
Upon arrival, the buyer attempted to negotiate once more, but the owner refused to budge on the price. Eventually, the buyer reluctantly agreed to the initial asking price of 50 lakhs. Curiously, the house owner inquired, "What would you like to drink?" The buyer simply requested water, but the owner insisted on serving juice. While the owner went upstairs to fetch the juice, the buyer explored the interior of the house and noticed a photograph of a man on the owner's computer screen.
Inquisitively, the buyer asked, "Who is this person in the picture?" The house owner somberly replied, "He was my brother, but he's no longer with us. He passed away." Intrigued, the buyer questioned the circumstances of his demise.
